Mr. Jalloul Ayed, appointed finance minister in the Tunisian Interim government in 2011, was born February 6, 1951 at Khniss in the governorate of Monastir.

Mr. Jalloul Ayed holds a BA in Economics from the Faculty of Law and Economic Sciences of Tunis (1977), and a master’s degree in Economics from the University of Maryland (1979).

In addition to his skills and experience in international banking and finance, Mr. Jalloul Ayed is a great music lover and composer of classical music. His symphonies’ Magador “,” Hannibal Barca “and” Scent of Jasmine “were played repeatedly in Tunisia and Morocco.
