A historic day in Tunisia, after years of dictatorship, the country is holding the first meeting of the constituent assembly. Mustapha Ben Jaafar, head of the Ettakatol, was elected with 145 votes. Meherzia Laabidi and Larbi Abid were elected vice presidents.
