A Tunisian arrest warrant has been officially filed against Béchir Sinoun - a young Tunisian man who was recently sentenced to death (and was granted extradition to Tunisia on December 15th, 2011, at the request of Tunisian interim President Moncef Marzouki) in Mali. Twenty four hours after his extradition order took effect, Sinoun was delivered from Mali to Tunisian authorities.

Sinoun was handed over to a Tunisian Trial Court, where he will receive his sentencing. Sinoun was previously condemned to death for detonating an improvised explosive in front of the French embassy in Mali on January 5th, 2011.
