President of the Tunisian Constituent Assembly Mustapha Ben Jaafar will make an official diplomatic visit to the Federal Republic of Germany today, February 8th, 2012. During his visit, Ben Jaafar is scheduled to meet with the president of the German Parliament (Der Bundestag) Norbert Lammert, as well as the heads of several parliamentary groups.

For this occasion, Ben Jaafar will hold a conference in the palace of the Bundestag, organized by the German Parliament, on the theme of “Transformation in the Arab World – The Example of Tunisia and Egypt.”

Ben Jaafar’s trip follows the recent visit of Tunisia’s Foreign Minister, Rafik Abdelsalaam, to Germany to meet with his German counterpart, Guido Westerwelle.
