Tunisian flag doodle for Tunisian Independence Day

Tunisians woke up this morning to the Google logo transformed into the Tunisian flag, honoring Tunisian Independence Day. A click on the changed Google logo or “Doodle” leads to a Google Search of “Istiklal Tunis” or Tunisian Independence in Arabic.

Google’s Oct 23rd Elections Doodle

The last Tunisian themed Doodle was designed for the October 23rd Constituent Assembly elections to remind Tunisians to vote.

The Doodle is a fun and exciting change to the Google logo to celebrate events, honor famous figures, and celebrate holidays. The tradition started in 1998 when Google founders Sergey Brin and Larry Page changed the corporate logo after they attended Burning Man in the Nevada Desert.
