In the last few minutes, The International Red Cross in Yemen have confirmed that kidnapped Franco-Tunisian aid worker, Nourane Houas has been released and is on her way to Muscat.

Houas was kidnapped by unidentified gunmen in December of last year while undertaking humanitarian work in Sanna, Yemen. A video featuring Houas was published by her abductors in August of this year, which seemed to indicate that time was running out for the kidnapped aid worker. However, at the request of Houas’ family, many in the Tunisian media, including Tunisia Live, chose not to report upon it, or speculate as to the identity of her kidnappers.
