Elyes Fakhfakh is an engineer and a Tunisian politician who is currently the Minister of Finance.

Fakhfakh is  member of the center left political party Ettakatol.

In the cabinet of former Prime Minister Hamadi Jebali, prior to the cabinet reshuffle of March 8, 2013, he served as the Minister of Tourism and Finance.

Elyes Fakhfakh was born in Tunis in 1972. He graduated from INSA Lyon. At the age of 27, Fakhfakh started his career as an engineer for Total France.

He was also the Deputy Director General of the Tunisian company CORTREL, which specializes in the manufacture of leaf springs.
